SMF III stand recommendations?

Post by bbach7 »

Hello!

I am anticipating receipt of a SMF III brush purchased from one of our good forum members. I will be purchasing a stand, but wanted to see if anyone else has specific recommendations for this particular brush (n.b. It has a longer handle than most).

Suggestions are much appreciated.

Many thanks,

brian

Brian, go to http://www.classicshaving.com/ They have the Vulfix brush stands for $8.99. These stands are made to accomodate large and x-large brushes. Vic

Thanks, Prisim, for the recommendation. It would be a lot easier to size the stand if I had the brush for measurements, etc.

You saved me some looking, and I appreciate it!

I bought the 30mm-brush-capable Dovo stand from Classic when I first started out and it has held every brush I have put on it. From the largest 30mm brushes to the smallest Rooney Style 1 Size 1. It can also hold any DE. Expensive stand, but well worth it in the long run.

I use a stand that came from Crabtree & Evelyn. It isn't perfect but was close at hand when I had the cash. Sometimes it will slouch over but it hasn't ever fallen out.
