Well,
My new Christmas present arrived today! No way was it going to wait under the tree!
You were right about Shavemac.com, that is where my wife ordered it.
It is 4 1/4" tall overall, the bristles are "Finest" badger, 2 1/4" from the knot tall and the handle is Faux Tortoise 2" from base to ring.
WOW Now I understand what all the fuss is about!
I couln't figure out why there was not much lather in the mug.... because it was ALL IN THE BRUSH! Lather like crazy! and the feel of the brush on my skin was almost toooo good.
I did not have to twist up any more lather for the second pass either... just a quick flip under the running hot water and start working it on my face. The second pass was smooth and enjoyable and the shave ended with NO irritation on my neck area!
All this with my usual Williams soap and a squirt of glycerine liquid soap.
I will just have to hurry up and decide which creams I want to try now.
The brush arrived in 2 1/2 days from Germany..... can't beat that!
Overall a great experience.
Can't wait to shave again in the morning when I get home from work!
LOL
(edit for spelling)
New Brush ...WOW!!!

Larry,
Congrats on the brush. I used to hate shaving until Vince introduced me to wet shaving. I was never able to understand how people could spend all that money on shaving products. Especially myself since I hated shaving. I now own a badger (not the greatest) and several creams and soaps. My shaves are now much more comfortable and I always look forward to shaving in the morning, especially when I get a new soap or cream.
I recently posted a topic under "skin care>>>my new process" I never in my right mind thought I would be spending all this money on shaving products. I am now a believer in wet shaving and shaving products.
A little advice to you is to look through all of the different topics and posts and learn as much as you can (if you havent already). Especially creams and soaps. There are so many to chose from!
