Still losing some bristles from BK8 after two month's use

Post by phule »

I'm still losing 4-5 bristles from my Kent BK8 each time I lather my face. And the brush is only 2 months old. Since I retired, I only shave every other day, so is this amount of Bristle loss normal?

I'm using Taylors Lavender Shave Cream preceed by Pacific Shaving Oil on some tender areas of my face.

Bob, this doesn't sound normal. Send an email to Miss Vanessa Peterson at Kent and let her know the problem. She will make sure you get a new brush. I'm betting you'll have a replacement BK8 by next week. Good luck.

Here's her email addy : vjp@kentbrushes.com

I emailed Ms. Peterson at Kent Brushes yesterday evening and received email from her today. She's offering to replace my brush which I accepted.

No, I've been very careful about this. This is what makes my problem with bristle loss so strange.
