I use a EJ brush made in england and it has worked quite well for almost 4 months now. I have only lost one hair out of it over the last 4 months and it is extremely soft to use. It doesn't hold water like a sponge per se but it does a commendable job with keeping the tips full of water. The handle is a nice Horn (Fake horn?) It is listed as Super badger but doubt the idea that it is true silvertip.

It does have a nice heft to it.

It does wonders with my taylor's creams and Conk soaps.
