Gary, I kind of like # 3. Simple and looks like a perfect size.

Hi Max

No.3 was very much an 'every man' style of brush

No 1 by a longshot. That's not the original knot, though, right?

I agree. I like #3 and #1 the most. I do like the two tone handle.

I would see #1 getting definite use, but I like the looks of all 3 really.

I cast my vote for the Bumble Bee. The other two brushes look very much like standard issue handles one can buy today from more than one manufacturer. On the other hand, the Bee looks quite different from any brush you would see in a shop window or on any vendor's web site. At the same time it appears easy to hold securely and gets high marks for utility...at least from what I can see. It also, alas, looks harder to turn than its brothers.

In the matter of the knots, I would not pick any of these for myself.

By the way, Mr. Young, why do you ask?

Hmmm...

Not to be a stick in the mud, but "none of the above"

Handle shape is an important factor to me and none of these shapes appeal to me. Perhaps if I had opportunity to handle one, my vote would change.

MaxP

The M7 ( #1 ) by a wide margin. Of the other two I prefer #3.
