Simpson Shave Brush Catalog

Post by diggity »

Does anyone have a link or scans of one of the older Simpson brush catalogs?

Hi Rob, Thanks for the reply. I was looking for something older...maybe from the 60's or 70's.

Guys

Sorry for the delay but my own work is taking control of all my hours at the moment! Working 7 days a week at the moment! Busy, busy , busy and considering the current economic climate I can't complain!

This is one of our old 'brochures'/'flyers' from the mid 70s. You will see it is a combined effort showing both Simpson brushes (Boar and Badger) and our Coates hair brushes. I will scan in one of the actual A4 size brochures when I get chance - hopefully this week sometime.

Thanks, Gary. Pretty cool. That pure bristle brush almost doesn't look like a badger brush in this ad!

The three brushes on the left are boar bristle.

Gary, which brushes were produced in boar & when did Simpsons stop making them?
Best regards,

Paul

Thanks for taking the time Gary, any chance some of those models may be reintroduced?

Gary, Very nice! Some interesting looking handle styles there. Looking forward to seeing the full blown catalogue from that era when you have a chance.

We made various styles with boar knots (not just the ones shown in this flyer) right up until we gave up the business in 1991.
