Just noticed, INT shipping may not be available. However, you may be able to negotiate that.Jonnieboy61 wrote:Just seen this on the bay, maybe of interest for some members here...

But it is not Art Deco 1920's, but from the 1960's.

Where do you get the info from that this is a 1960s brush?
The Simpson decal is a 'London' one. My family did not use the 'London' decal after moving from London.

Peter, this is shocking news.drP wrote: Well not really...it's more a novelty to me...nowadays i concentrate more on brushes i can actually use in my daily shaving routine.
Does that mean you are whittling down your massive collection to concentrate on having only a couple of brushes?

Bruno,
I've sold many brushes over the past months, especially the smaller and most expensive Somersets and some Plissons.
They were replaced by 10 Simpsons Manchurians, 6 giant custom made Rooneys ( made by Lee Sabini), a lot of Morris&Forndrans and three genuine ivory brushes of which two new custom made.
The giant brushes and the ivories aren't meant for daily use either but the Manchurians are part of my daily rotation.
I'm not particularly fond of novelty brushes like the one above, neither were i taking part in the bidding proces of the so called "art deco" Simpson wich was sold recently on Ebay.
But i do have a weakness for genuine ivory brushes...
