QEII Diamond Jubilee Commemorative Shaving Brush

Post by Vulfix Old Original »

Specs & hair grade to follow.

Coin shown for indicative purposes, hoping to insert a Diamond Jubilee Manx (Isle of Man) One Pound coin.

Individually engraved and numbered.

Something for the Simpson collectors out there?

Best regards,

Mark

definitely not one for the irish republicans amongst us! or british republicans come to think of it.
Remember: this is all just wasted time and lives talking nonsense to strangers about pieces of metal, hair and chemical compounds.

Oh yes! If I could get one in top grade boar, with a loft of about 65 or so! My Semogue 2000 has knocked me a bit looney I suppose, obviously, but why not a special knot of boar hair for such a special brush. Vulfix boars have a great reputation, and I've been searching for one of them with a nice loft, but haven't had much luck. Maybe this will be my chance.

Top grade boar sounds like a holiday dish.

Squire, you remind me that I have two high-quality small hand/nail brushes I bought in Paris decades ago and they have the name Sanglier on them. A few years ago I tried to find Sanglier on the Internet to see what kind of company it is and if they make other brushes. I found nothing so I tried my French dictionary and found out it means "boar." Now, doesn't Sanglier sound a lot more la de da than boar?

My wife thinks I should sell a few brushes and buy one of these. :) I told her I would be afraid to use it and the last thing I need is another expensive brush sitting around that I don't use.

Dale, Why don't you buy it and I will use it for you?....see, everyone's happy that way.
