New Omega boar brush
Re: New Omega boar brush
Anthony,
There have been several threads here concerning the proper (?) break-in of a new boar brush.
Maybe they will pop-up if you do a quick search.
I have had several boar brushes and my complicated, involved, personal break-in procedure
is... to shave with it. I never experienced the supposedly foul smell associated with boar brushes.
Yours looks to be a fine set of products... good luck with them and continue to let us know how
they treat you!

Re: New Omega boar brush
For me it's like breaking in a new pair of shoes, daily use will do the trick.

Re: New Omega boar brush
I don't know if all Omegas are prebroken in now, but the last few I've purchased were broken in after the initial lathering to clean the brush. That doesn't happen w/o the factory making it happen.

Brian, that's how my most recent Omega (20107) came. Didn't really need any more breaking-in. Didn't have any funky-ness to get rid of either. Whatever they did, it seems to be just what they needed to do.
