Boots "Victorian" size 2 by Regal - Rooney or Simpson?

Hello everyone,

Gary Young has let the forums know several times that Simpsons was a major supplier to Boots and other high street chemists. Was Regal one of their imprints--or Rooney's? An independent manufacturer?

The base of this brush unscrews. The turnings are quite exquisite and are absolutely worthy of the top names.

Thanks for any thoughts! I will post more pics when the brush is cleaned up and given a new lease on life...
