Simpsons box color

Post by Greenhouse » Sun Mar 22, 2015 6:20 pm

I was wondering if there is any significance of the box color for Simpsons brushes. My last Simpsons (December 2014) is a Super Chubby 2 that came in a gray box, and I believe my previous Simpsons - a Best Polo 8 from several years earlier - came in a red box. It seems like a silly question, but I have seen the box color specified from time-to-time on this board and others, and I was just curious if it had any meaning. In one post I read, the gray box was referred to as older, but I don't know how much older, or even if that's accurate.

Appreciate the help.

I believe the older grey or green boxes have been fully replaced by the red ones, during these last couple of years. Not sure if you can pinpoint a specific date by the box color, but I don't think it would be an accurate method.

Red was one of the traditional colours back in the family's times.
