she came today. I took her for a spin. twice. it was fun. but I noticed something odd.

there was no unpleasant smell from the brush in anyway. Did I get a lemon?

I am of the opinion that manufacturers were callous about brushes stinking and needing to be broken in. They didn't give a darn. Then when one of them figured it out (duh), it was immediately fixed for competitive reasons. Did you get a lemon? What do you think! :D

I would just accept the lack of scent as a gift.

I have 2 boar brushes in my stock, one really stunk upon arrival and the other had no scent at all, I guess its just luck of the draw.
I too got a brush in the mail today... a Vie long epsilon horsehair brush...you wanna talk about some funk!
