I posted (some time ago) that Sainsburys supermarkets in Belfast appeared to have stopped carrying their own-branded US made double edge blades.
Double edged blades seem to have made a return to their shelves.
These blades are £1.99 for 10 and clearly marked Produced in South Korea for Sainsburys Supermarkets Ltd
Haven't tried them yet.
I'll let you know, unless someone beats me to it.

If they are the same as DORCO blades (the only blades I know of from South Korea), they should be very good blades. I have used DORCO blades and they are as good as or better than the ASR/Personna, Israeli noname, Derby, and they are better than the German made Wilkinsons.

IF they have 2 small tranitionally shaped arrows on them (like the one in this emoticon
) I would not expect much out of them. Local Grocery carries Korean made blades like this, and they are terrible, I still have mine, but only so I can use the blade vault, then they go in the trash.

I opened the packet out of curiosity
The blades are wrapped in orange striped paper which clearly states "Dorco Stainless Made in Korea".
The blades themselves are unmarked oily and very clean /satin polished looking.

Tried one of these blades this morning - seem to pretty good to me. Keen and smooth.
Got a good shave out of my slant bar - which can be unforgiving.

3 good shaves but number 4 is more than a little raw.
Not really all that good, back to the WS of suspicious origins.......
