Im looking to e-bay some DE razors, think im going to get a few Personnas to start of with (or should i get the Merkur?). I dont want to get ripped off, i saw a few good prices, atleast what i thought to be good.

stick with seller dsshokey, you'll get the real israeli's for a fair price. dont buy the personnas that come in the red paper packaging that have now shown up for something like 6-9 bucks, i believe randy has done some digging and found them to likely be made in mexico and sub par

Type 'Israeli Personna' on eBay's main page in the 'search' box. There are 3 that show up there.

EDIT: Of course only the first one is the kind the cool kids use.

I have bought blades from this seller in the past. Great to deal with and fast delivery.

Those two are the same blade or at least advertised as the same blades. I love the Israeli blades myself. They are my second-third favorites.

You know, Letterk (check the "Selling & Trading" forum) offers sampler packs of various makes of blades. He's a great fellow to deal with and I think he offers excellent value.

Give these a test drive. You'll have the opportunity to experience shaving with pretty much every blade you've read about on these forums without spending a lot of money to do it.

Best,

Les
