i have a dovo bismarck 6/8th and a puma special 5/8th that shave me the best. i am now nick free in shaving. i am trying out a henckles friodur 7/8, and can get my hands on a ti vine and leaf with 6/8 singing blade. so those two are in the running with maybe a wonderedge or goldedge dubl duck. anyone with experience with these that can help me?

also, how is a hess. i saw my first pic of one on ebay and i swear it was like a goldedge in appearance

Wow. I have never heard of all those different razors. If you ever look into a gillette mach 3 turbo, then I'm your guy.

I would look at the prices at this point:) I understand from people I have talked to that the Fridour is one heck of a razor. I don't know much about TI's

Get yourself a nice Wade & Butcher made with Sheffield English steel and you'll find you have one GREAT razor. BTW, the TI's are mostly made from old blanks of Sheffield steel. Of the new razors, it's hard to beat them. Just make sure to strop well before shaving.
Luigi shaves with a DE, but would shave more with his Str8s if he had the time.

Sam,

I believe Joel has owned those razors before perhaps he will illuminate us later tonight!
