Gents--
While I was in a "everything's a dollar" kind of store last week I found a plastic DE razor. The brand name is "Zorrik" and is apparently of Indian manufacture. Its obviously much lighter than a metal DE, but its heavier than a disposable...about on-par with vintage Bakelite razors. It has a safety bar.
I shaved with it this morning, using a Personna blade. I got a reasonably decent shave--a few nicks on my neck and some residual stubble on my chin, no doubt due to my poor DE technique.
This might make a good travel razor for those who don't want to take a chance on losing their regular gear, or want to try DE shaving on a budget.
