Nice Little Razor for the Price ?

Let's talk about single and double edged razors and the blades that they use.

What do you guys think ... £21.95, from D R Harris ( made by EJ) with the new Muhle Head, pretty reasonable hey ?

I use it as my only razor at the moment and its fantastic. Those pics were taken when i first got it...

Its a beautiful little piece, shaves nicely, not too aggressive, but only certain blades work with it ... I find the swede and feather work nicely in it.

I bought mine from the D R Harris shop in London, I have not seen them available anywhere else in London, or online, in fact I called Edwin Jagger and they said even they didnt sell them direct.

Damn, Benjy, that is nice!..... Too bad that we who are across "the pond" have to wait to get it, or not be able to get it at all.
But then, it's nice to have a friend in London...... :D

David

But don't hoover them up like the Swedes, Ben: some of us live in London and these are our local shops. :-) ie please leave one for me - until Friday at least :-)

Also tagged by their maker Edwin Jagger you can buy them at quite a few places at an excellent price on line.

They're available here:

http://www.rasagepoulin.com/rasoir_razors.html

I think this is a Canadian site?

And on this USA site:

http://www.highlandmenscare.com/edwin-j ... andle.html

and there's a fully chromed one here - thought it looks like it has the old head, but it's cheaper still:

http://www.thecompleteman.co.uk/shaving%20razors.html

- I don't suppose these are the only places. I guess the sterling prices look like a bargain when translated into dollars these days.

See, this one the complete man is cheaper, however once you add shipping to the UK works out the same as getting it from DR Harris, and the ones in Harris have the new head !

I was gonna order mine from that site, until i found it in Harris.

But its defo a good price for the razor, wherever you get it !!
