Gents, before I bid on one of these, I want to know if this is a good razor before I bid on one...all feedack appreciated!

I've had one for more than 30 years and it is as good today as it was new... I bought a second one on ebay a short time ago, just to have a spare should mine decide to 'give up the ghost'.
A lot of men have used them and still do. Some guys prefer the Merkur razors.
I wouldn't trade my Gillette for any of them.
