Let's talk about single and double edged razors and the blades that they use.

They can't be serious.... This should be on an infomercial for $29.95 plus shipping and handling, with only 3 easy payments!!!

Yup -- all my buddies in their last couple of years in high school swore by the pyramid blade sharpener - I never did succumb.

My only problem is finding those made in Czechoslovakia "Dukat Zlato" blades.

Even Barnum’s judgment is a gross underestimate.
(Dave, BTW just now noticed your interesting avatar. Watched the Criterion Collection “Pandora’s Box” the other night. I’ve think I've been obsessed with her since at least college. A true enigma.)

It might just be a standard glazed ceramic tile. I got a tile on eBay, not knowing that that was what I would be getting, but it did work on some blades, including Mach 3 and Schick FX Diamond.
Of course, once you know that, you can get one at a local store. The only difference in the one I bought was that it had a rubber pad glued to the bottom to keep it from slipping when you put it on a countertop to use it.
