What I did was make a "cozy" for my ordinary blade box. A little dab of hot glue holds it in. A razor knife cuts the glue when the box is full and a new one goes in.







I have some in the works made from different types of wood. This one is mahogany and maple.

It does look better than the empty Altoids can I use. But I just keep it in "my" shaving drawer in the bathroom where it's been for (can't remember when I started using it). Wonder how long it will take to fill it up?

Beautiful work. A woodworking question: How did you route the curved recess? It is deep Or did you assemble it after shaping?

A nice box you have made. It is good to have a blade bank instead to throwing them away like some careless moron.

Dave, I started with a solid piece of wood and drilled out most of the material on the drill press with a forstener bit then made a template for the router using a pattern bit and finished up. Really the hardest part was getting the slot correctly located.
