DOES ANYONE THINK THAT THE NEW SAFETY RAZORS ARE SORT OF GETTING OUT OF HAND. I JUST SAW A MERKUR BEING MADE, THERE ARE 21 PARTS TO THIS RAZOR. WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO THE 3 PIECE GILLETTE.

Not to sound rude Rick, but is there a reason you always type in all-caps? Easier to read?
I like three-piece DEs myself. Simple, elegant design that ages well and is easy to clean or replate if needed.

Actually I wasn't joking when I posted that your "all caps" series of posts totally sold me on the big Omega brushes. You seem like a pretty calm guy so I knew they had to be good if you were that excited.
The critics just missed out on a good thing lol.

Rick, Was it perhaps their Vision razor that had 21 parts? If so that might explain why they have a reputation here for failing and having to be repaired or replaced.

Gordon

The simpler designs are more appealing to me.
If a 21 piece razor is an effective shaver, however, than so be it.

Gil,
When I saw the caps I knew it would not be long before we heard from you.
. You are too predictable.
