I use a Gillette Model #58 daily. It's beautifully made, very nicely balanced and shaves just a shade closer than my standard late '40s Gillette Superspeed which I use when I travel. I also think very highly of the Feather SS DE and hope that I can retreive mine one day. I've never tried the newer Muehle-Pinsel head and all Merkurs were too aggressive for my taste except the Progress set down very low.

For me these days its the Weber ARC, great Merkur type head but so much kinder and smoother, the 58 and the Gillette Slim.

I use a Stahly live blade head on an EJ DE89 head almost every day now.

Second favorite razor is a FaTip on a Tradere handle.

Third favorite is a pristine Fatboy.

None of my other razors gets any attention anymore. I'm thinking about a sell-off.

I don't have nearly the collection some of you folks have, but I have 3 that I mostly use:

1) Super Adjustable: I'm on a kick with this one--been using it exclusively for about a month now. Gives a great shave when set to 9.

2) Sheraton: open comb TTO--what's not to like? A few shaves with this lovely, and my son got my 1940's Milord.

3) Hoffritz Slant: Nothing better for when you have a couple days growth. A little harsh for daily use, however. Although my technique has improved considerably over the past year or so, so it might be time to revisit it again.

Would love to try a late 30's open comb Aristocrat, but haven't been able to locate one locally, and Ebay prices have been a little daunting for a razor I might dislike. Probably try one in time...
John.

I'll think of something clever eventually.

I've posted earlier in this thread, but after a few months, the best for me are narrowed down to two (other than the straight razors). The best shaves in my life are occurring now, thanks to these two:

Cobra Classic - Kai Captain Titan Mild blades.
Barbasol floating head - Personna hospital use blades.

There's no reason to use anything else other than for nostalgia. I've sold off the most sought after vintage razors.

Of over 100 razors in my arsenal, I'm down to two which get regular use:

iKon OC Deluxe LE Bulldog #07 - My favorite, it is smooth and efficient. Greg hit a home run with this one.

English Long-Comb NEW with Weber Bulldog or BRW all-bronze fluted handle - in my opinion, the finest shaver ever produced by Gillette.

While I enjoy several others, I use these almost exclusively.

Chuck

I've owned a fair few razors to date but have cleared the decks on my return to wet shaving (increase funds, reduce distractions). The razor I chose to use this time round was a Schick Krona (my preference is for razors with slightly longer handles). I probably could have continued with the Krona but I wanted to enter a period of fidelity with a slightly heavier, more elegant razor so I now have a Mühle R89. So...

Schick Krona
Mühle R89

I use mainly two razors: a Jagger DE89L and a notched bar Gillette Aristocrat, both with Feather blades.
