A new mark on a 1921 Gillette razor

Recently I ran into a a 1921 silver standard, on the underside of the bottom blade plate was the marking of a "G in a square. I know what the "G inside a D" means but I have never seen this particular mark on a Gillette. Anybody have and ideas. Krumholtz says that the razors with the "G inside a D" are scarce, I have 5 of them but as far as i know he never mentions the "G inside a square". Can anyone help??.....ty.........Rick
