I recently found this in the wild at an antique store. I have never seen this before or heard about it anywhere. Research has turned up next to nothing. If anyone knows anything about this razor post in my thread here:
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=52115.

rakha1,
If you are talking of a commercial product from which you hope to make a profit, please post anything about it in the
Shopping forum. You might also like to read the
Posting Guidelines, as it seems Rule #4 might apply.
Otherwise, welcome to SMF. Tell us about the Darwin Razor.

Schick injector razor Type D, the first Schick to be called an "Injector," lighter than its Magazine Repeating Razor predecessors that had a blade-feeding mechanism in the handle. The handle on this model opens to access the blade and clean that area, so you don't need a "finger" on your blade pack to open the razor and change blades.

1954 Z 4
Year and quarter of my birth.
The last production of the 1940s-style handle.
I will have to see how it polishes up. I've seen worse come out pretty good after a good toothpaste scrubbing and some Fltz. If not too bad, I will use it as-is. If needed I will have it refurbed and re-plated.
