Sometimes the direct approach is preferred. If a guy's already got a Progress that might benefit from an upgrade, then there's no need to go through Lee to communicate with Eric.

It is if that's the way Eric wants it. It's not uncommon for a small craftsman to have an exclusive arrangement with a retailer.

Last I heard, you buy converted razors from Lee, but Eric still does conversions of existing razors. My information may not be up to date, however.

A clarification from Eric on this thread would be appreciated.

I think this knob is amazing. It looks so much better. Actually, now that I've stumbled over this thread and have seen how the Merkur Progress looks with this custom knob, I can't even look at the base model. It simply doesn't look right without it.
