I am happy to announce that BullGoose Shaving Supplies
www.bullgooseshaving.net is now open for business.
BullGoose Shaving Supplies is devoted to those customers who have found that traditional "wetshaving" results in the closest, most comfortable and refreshing shaves they have ever experienced. As our business gets up and running, our present focus is on those products that we feel are high quality and yet are reasonably priced and have stood the test of time. If you're looking for that $60 shaving soap, you won't find it here--yet! However, as we work out the inevitable startup glitches, we will be adding additional products. Customer suggestions for new items are valued and will be considered. We strive to provide products that will make wetshaving a pleasurable experience for all our customers, whether experienced or just starting out.

I received a large shipment today of some highly anticipated items. I have not been able to get them all up on the site yet but I have added the following:
Floid Blue Aftershave
Floid Amber Aftershave
Proraso Red Tubs
I hope to have the rest of the haul added either tonight or tomorrow.

Phil, that Proraso red tub reminds me of Cella. Is is a soft soap or a hard soap?

It is a soft soap similar in consistency to the other Proraso "soaps". It is more dense than the Proraso cream that comes in a tube but it is definitely not a hard soap.

Is it kind of similar in malleability (sp?) to the RazoRock soft soaps?

Thanks Phil. I'll have to remember that the next time.

It is firmer than the RR Classic soft soaps but somewhat similar to the "artisan" soaps.

Phil, have you sniffed the Myrsol Blue? It has my curiosity.

I have sniffed it and like what I smell. It is reminiscent of some of the old drugstore/barbershop brands but more sophisticated. Wish I could describe it better. It isn't overpowering and is one that you can use liberally.
