Anniversary Moss Scuttle: FIRST Contest Winner

Post by SaraBonnyman »

Congratulations to John M from Seattle WA – he is the winner of a large Anniversary Slate scuttle. He has been notified and the scuttle has been shipped out to him today. His entry was as follows :

Hi, I'd to enter the contest to win an Anniversary Edition scuttle.
When I was 5 I wanted to be Superman; I clipped a bath towel around my neck as a cape and jumped off the roof of my dog's house, breaking my arm. I actually became an allergy doctor. Thanks for the contest. John

Thank you to the 50 other folks who entered the contest – and please have another go in our second contest (ending midnight August 31st 2011 – see poster for details)

I think you will enjoy the scuttle John. Congratulations! Is it Sara or Sally? I know Dr. Moss uses Sally but that is probably due to a working close friendship so I won't presume to use Sally. I appreciate that Sara makes these and for offering this celebrational give-away.

Congratulations, John! Hot lather is the last thing on my mind today - 33°C (or 91°F for those stuck in the dark ages) today, but come cooler weather it is a delight.

Here's the scuttle in use with a little Opus 1870 and a Somerset Simpson 58. It's great for this medium size brush.
