Looks like your first impulse to post it here was correct. One can't predict which way the conversation might go!

The Australians are working on a beer that hydrates you instead of dehydrating you. The goal is the elimination of the hangover.

Squire, I think for some people, that's asking too much!!!

Here's an article about two Iraq War vets who have started their own craft brewery near a naval base, selling beers with military themes.

Here's something new called The Brewbot.

I don't really understand it, but somehow it lets you use your smartphone to help you make homebrew.

A British scientist has written a column in The Guardian today in which he says that he has discovered the chemicals/molecules in alcohol that do bad things, and that he has begun to find substitute chemicals/molecules which allow the drinker to get tipsy without the brain damage and hangover.

I was surprised to learn today that Amazon sells beer and wine making kits.

I remember about ten years ago that they stopped selling tobacco products (i.e., cigars), and I guess I assumed that they didn't sell alcohol-related items either. But whatever the policy has been, they sell them now.

Here is a list of 48 beers of less than 5% ABV which are recommended by Draft Magazine.

Any thoughts?
