A Tip of the Hat to Amazon
I recently bought a blood pressure monitor from Amazon but found that it consistently gave abnormally low readings, despite battery changes and with no evidence of any cuff leakage. Amazon's web site says that personal care items like the monitor are "not eligible for return," so I telephoned their customer service to discuss the issue. The representative immediately initiated a full refund and told me that I didn't even need to return the monitor; I can donate it or give it away or just throw it out. The whole process took 5 minutes. Regardless of any other problems one might have with Amazon or their policies, they certainly provided excellent customer service to me this time.

I've always had a fantastic customer service experience, starting back in the day when maybe jeff was still boxing books haha.

We recently ordered a wart removal freeze-off kit. It arrived with missing pieces. I was able to get an agent online who took care of the problem immediately. So I can vote for great customer service this time.
Question to the OP - I could not find a phone number. Would you care to share it? Thank you.

I misspoke in my first post. I did not telephone them. I clicked on a link on their web site's customer service section, giving my number and requesting a call back. They called within a couple minutes.

Thanks for the reply, John. I had the same experience as you, and they called back promptly. I must be old school, would rather call than use electronics.
