SMF

I've tried several times to upload a picture below user name. Always get message cannot be larger than 80x80 pixels. All of those pictures are small x small and spent time reducing my picture smaller than those I see. Didn't work. Wrong path.

Have read entries in feedback and while those seem to be about images on a post, figured procedure was similar and maybe I would get lucky and then on a post by rusty blade and note by Chris for Mac users (thank you) he mentioned to select Copy Image Address if using Safari (I am) so I copied the address (file name) on my computer but then the directions leave me wondering as these instructions are for a post (I think). So, I'm still on wrong path.

Any help appreciated.

I had issues with getting my avatar and this forum to work properly. Luckily, I found the one that stuck, Dr. Chris Moss helped sorting it out for me, and I have left it alone ever since.

I'm learning that the good Doc is some kind guy, he helped me get on the forum last week. I await, hopefully, his reply.

For future reference, it's the work of moments to resize any image in iPhoto.

I have done several Avatars and hundreds of photo editing using iPhoto and Preview but for some reason could not make it work this time. But thanks anyway.
