Back up and running
Back up and running
Sorry for the downtime guys. We've had some major issue with power outages here in California and I think that had something to do with it.
Our A/C at home will not stay on for more than 10 minutes without going out. My poor wife and son had to seek refuge elsewhere today.
Thanks for hanging in there.
Johnnie

Your power company is doing one of two things, or both.
1) They are doing what is commonly called voltage drop where they drop the volts on the system so that they can either push more power thru and/or they have a thermal contingency on some of the lines (they can over heat, expand and ground out if they get too bad)
2) They coudl be doing load management where they basically cycle on and off larger appliances such as air conditioners and other high usage appliances, if they can drop the demand they can keep the system as a whole up and running. If they didn't and the demand keeps going up with no more power plants to start up to supply (or the supply is all tapped out) then there would be a total blackout.

Actually I mentioned that there's another wetshaver from Nova Scotio when I ordered it and my wife made a comment about how much time I spend on SMF. That's pretty much it.drmoss_ca wrote:
Oh? Which bit of it exactly, was it, that reminded you of me?

How cold is it there now that you have to turn on the furnace?
