I like those fruit shaped jellied candies that look like orange and lemon slices but on days I shave with C&E Almond I raid my wife's baking cabinet in search of marzipan.

Hah! This is in fact the secret formula for my favorite candy ever, Pearson's Salted Nut Roll. When I can get candy corn (i.e., around Halloween) I eat this, as I can't get Salted Nut Rolls on the east coast.

The Salted Nut Roll is a nougat rod wrapped in caramel and then encased in peanuts -- sweet, and salt together. Heaven! Pearson's (www.pearsonscandy.com) are also the fiendish devils who make my dad's favorite, the Nut Goodie (maple and nuts and other stuff: too sweet for me).

Oh, and M&Ms are nearly as good, but too common to be The Best Evar. :7)

Buy your Mom a bag of multi-color pastel Circus Peanuts. Always squeeze one at the corner of the bag to check for freshness. If all the Peanuts in the corners are smashed, I've been to your store, I can eat a whole bag at one sitting. I like your Mom!

Will,
Try the Candy Corn mixed 50/50 with salted dry roasted Planters peanuts. Good salt/sugar replacement for the Nougat Nut Roll when you can't find them. Those are at the top of my list too.

Snicker Bars!

I love 'em in the city and definitely love 'em on the high peaks.

The newer ones with almonds are decadent as well.

Candy isn't a big thing for me, sugar gives me a headache, but I have a weakness for one candy from my childhood...Bottlecaps!!

I also remember Wacky Wafers, they were "friut" flavored candy similar to Bottlecaps but much larger, I wish I could find them again to share with my kids. They made some a while in a tube, but they were small and didn't taste the same...or my tastes have changed. :-k

The only other thing that I really can't resist are See's Candies Bordeauxs.

I used to like giving Zotz to unsuspecting friends. The looks on their faces, when the bicarbonate started to foam, was priceless.

Hard to choose - sweet tooth.

Callard and Bowser Butterscotch.

Highland Toffee - when you bought a bar Mr Corbett used to break it for you with a 16 oz claw hammer.

Cinamon Lozenges

Kola Cubes / Pineapple Cubes

Everton Mints

Sour Apples

Brandy Balls

Rhubarb Rock

Rileys Toffee Rolls

Unfortunately some of these are no longer available. A big thankyou is due to the EU - NOT
