SOTD October 16th - October 22nd
Thursday
This has been sample week for me. I have obtained many different samples of shave cream. today i used:
Trumper Rose
Gillette Adjustable with Feather blade
C&E Best Badger brush
Trumper Skin Food Limes
The rose really shocked me. I put the smallest amount of cream possible in the cup and it exploded it too rich lather, more than any other cream I have used. Less than half a dime size enabled over four passes, and could of shaved several other people. Is Rose more easily latherable than other Trumpers?

Thursday: "Staying the course"
- Merkur HD w/feather
- Proraso green
Today I smeared the Proraso cream all over my face and then lathered it up with a wet brush. This ended up working pretty well, and none fell off, though the lather was a little drier than otherwise (there being no cream on the brush to mix with the water). On subsequent passes the lather thinned out to some degree but was still quite nice.
Tomorrow I'll use a big mug and see how that compares.
