Two pass shave (N-S and then across the grain), very good results. A few more days of that, and then I guess I have to go with against the grain.
Dominic,

I'm sure you'll do just fine...
You are doing it "right" this time around, a testament to your patience and wisdom. You'll be "gun slinging" that AC in no time at all...
There's an old proverb I just made up, that goes:
he who tries do do three passes with a Feather AC on his first shave, learns a good lesson in patience.
Give us the luxuries, and we will forgo the necessities.
Give a man a fire, he'll be warm for a day.
Set a man on fire, he'll be toasty for the rest of his life.

Wednesday:

Merkur Futur w. Super Platinum (2/2)
SCS badger brush
New Karo Fresh shaving creme (sample)
Aqua Velva Classic Ice Blue A/S
New Karo Fresh A/S creme

The Karo cream is very excellent, lathers like mad and gave me a fantastic shave with a really good skin care, also the A/S creme is highly recommended...

Seems I'm pretty much in tune with Andrew and Sergio today. Once again I was reminded of why I always used to beat the drum for the Schick Injector back on the old Wetshaver's forum.

Trumpers Almond shave cream
D R Harris's A/S Milk ( old version )

My first foray into the world of quality soaps:
SCS Fairway soap
SMF III brush
Regent Tech w/ 5-shave old Israeli
SCS Tony's Choice ASB

The Tony's Choice rated a "Wow!" from SWMBO, always good to hear when I try a new product. OTOH, I have some to learn about lathering soap...

Johnnie, you've got to remember it is -30C in Winnipeg. It is like smearing seal fat on your face to stop it from freezing.

Is that "patience" or "patients" (as in, being a patient)???
