Saturday:

Gillette '58 TV Super Speed / English Wilkinson blade
Geo. F. Trumper Violet Shave Cream
Caswell-Massey Number Six Aftershave Balm
Caswell-Massey Number Six Cologne

What a fantastic shave. It was one of those shaves where all the planets are in alignment and everything just comes together. Perfect lather from the Trumper violet, combined with my trusty '58 TV and an English Wilkinson blade that had one shave under its belt to smooth things out. The Number Six was a fantastic accompaniment to the violet fragrance, and the result was a close, smooth, extremely comfortable shave.

Excelsior!

NWC Sinjector with Dog's Bollocks blade
Sabrooney style 1 tiny
Arko stick
Lucky Tiger ASB toner
GFT Wellington

Just as an experiment I used an "easy" razor today instead of the feather AC. I actually ended up irritating my skin by going too fast because it seemed so easy to use. Ironic, that.

Saturday:

Vulfix 2233
Mitchell's Wool Fat
'58 Super Speed
Derby blade
Pinaud Clubman AS

After my last shave I thought I had mastered lathering with the Wool Fat, and today's shave confirmed that it wasn't a fluke. This stuff is amazing when done right!

I've had a headache most of the day so I'm taking a photo day-off.

Japanese Feather AC w/Pro Blade after an unsuccessful attempt with a George Wostenholm & Sons straight razor. Back to the hone with that one. Gosh I love straight razors .

Mitchell's Wool Fat

Sunday:

Vulfix 2233
Kiss My Face Moisture Shave - Cool Mint
'58 Super Speed
Derby blade (#1)
Witch hazel
St. Charles Shave Aged Leather AS Milk

I applied the same brush technique as I learned from Mitchell's Wool Fat and I got another superior lather today. I think I may have stumbled upon lather heaven.

Bill, if I were you I would stock up on some of those pillar packs from Blademail before they are gone forever.
