Vulfix 2233
Mitchell's Wool Fat
'58 Super Speed
Derby blade (#5)
Witch hazel
Pinaud Clubman AS
Apparently a few centimetres of snow is now enough to screw up traffic so I didn't have much time this morning.

Trumper's Violets soap

Yep - I broke out of the AC routine. Applying what I'd learned from using the AC for the last couple of months to shaving with the DE gave me one of the best shaves I've ever achieved.

Hello Richard in Canada,
I like the "man in motion" perspective actually. It adds the "human" touch to otherwise inanimate objects. I say, "Carry On!"
Jim, beautiful black and gold motif.
For me, a humble setup of SCS New Spice soap and B&B Cologne.
Cheers,
Richard in TX

Thursday:
Gillette HD Rocket & Swedish Gillette blade
Simpson Polo #8 Best
T&H Lime shave cream
D R Harris's Pink A/S
Penhaligon's Lime cologne
I dug the T&H Lime cream out of the back of the closet, I'd half forgotten that I had the pot. It's beginning to get a little overly...a....firm....so, I'm thinking that I better make more use of it, or lose what remains. I've always gotten a good shave with this stuff, and while I prefer the scent of the Coate's, the Truefitts is still nice, if a little different.

Richard, are those Wilks (UK) or (German)? I thought the ones in the white were German, because they are available here locally. The ones at blademail have black covering with white letter and are suppose to be UKs.rustyblade wrote:

Bob, ( chuckle ) I thought you might notice that. It's no longer made. Penhaligons had a range they called "English Classics", which included the Lime, an Eau de Cologne, and my all time favourite Lavender Water for gents. The Penhaligon's Lime is something like the T&H, only more lime, and less other things. It's also quite long lasting for a true lime men's cologne.
Regards,
Gordon
