The second GollyMrScience Christmas Contest

Post by GollyMrScience »

Santa gets Technical

To save some reading time for those that have already checked out my other contests this contest is for:
A Gillette "Fat Boy" Tech
Good to very good shape.
This is the three piece fat handled Tech with the made in Canada and 1932 markings on the underside of the head.
One of the newbie favorites though a lifetime keeper for anybody.

Below is the yadda yadda on the contest rules etc for those that haven't read them yet.

I appologize for leaving this so late in the season but I only just got back from another extended trip.
Yes I have returned with tidings of great joy for those looking for a razor for that "special someone" in your life.
You.
Or perhaps a close friend that must be saved from the trials and tribulations of the daily shaving drudgery that we DE shavers have converted to daily enjoyment.
And so good friends, I intend to offer several decent (though no promise of minty is implied) examples of some of the more sought after razors that new shavers particularly might like to own.
While I do not intend to limit participation to JUST newbies I would hope you guys that have loaded up on razors would leave the field open for someone that really needs a razor.
As many of you know I am a “stick in the mud” and don’t just give razors away to the first person to spot my post and jump to the keyboard.
Ya gotta work for a razor out of the GollyMrScience razor vault.
In the spirit of the season though I am going to forsake my usual demands for poetry or songs etc and make it easy for even the less gifted among us to have a chance at a razor.
For this contest you only have to be psychic.
A simple clairvoyant effort is all it takes to link to the cosmic whole and determine without going over a number that I have chosen between 1 and 1000.
Or you could just guess- that works sometimes but lacks the panache and the, oh so neat, swami hat type accoutrements.
In this game even close enough might be good enough as closest without going over will win the day and the razor.
So... real simple. I will post a razor description and hopefully a pic if I can get my butt in gear.
I will ask those playing to post their choice of number in that thread so others do not repeat the number in their choice and we will all know who picked a number first.
In order to ensure that I am never accused of playing favorites or diddling with the psychic balance of nature by awarding a prize to someone unfairly I have enlisted the aid of my beautiful assistant Oscar (Racso) to hold the numbers.
As with all my contests the razor will be shipped to the winner at my cost.
You members who live in far away places are not disqualified either. My free shipping offer applies worldwide.
My only request is that if said razor is not the razor of your dreams and you decide to divest yourself of it that you offer it to another person (hopefully newbie) for the same amount you paid for it - namely free.
As an added incentive and just because I think its kinda nice, for every entry that you guys make in every one of these Christmas Giveaways I will donate 50 cents to my local Christmas charity.

Fair enough dear friends??
One entry per person in each contest please, though you can enter more than one giveaway contest.
