Wednesday:

1953 Gillette Coronation razor model #58 with a Gillette 7O'Clock blade (day #2)
GOSH Rooney Heritage brush
Proraso shaving cream
a finishing pass with olive oil
Boosters polar Ice aftershave
Penhaligon's Opus 1870 cologne

What a wonderful shave. Sometimes I forget just how good Proraso actually is. The oil pass is actually helping to give me the closest shaves I have ever had!

Warmest regards, Niksa

Thursday morning
Pre-Shave: Hot towel/hot towel plus lather
Razor: Treet Platinum
Blade: Israeli Personna, third shave
Brush: Generic badger brush
Soap/Cream: Tryphon Rose
A/S: Nivea for Men Sensitive lotion

Got a good shave -- not BBS, but no irritation. Tonight, I'll cut down this IP into a third shim and see, in the morning, how that changes the shave.

Thursday:

Gillette 1953 President
Derby Extra #10
Simpson Polo #8
Trumper's Violet SC

I feel its almost silly trying to extend out the Derby further given how inexpensive they are so I am going to end the test here as I'm really missing the Swedes... I may try out a Feather in between... nevertheless the Derby has proven itself capable so there's definitely something to the avoidance of corrosion by removing blades and perhaps flipping too...
