You called it Gordon. That's why you're the Duke. My wife and I are essentially maintaining separate residences for the next month or so. That means it's time to eat poorly, watch too much TV, use bad language, and grow a goatee :)
But what will you be doing?

  • Prep: Noxzema Deep Cleansing Cream & hot towel
  • Brush: C&E BBB
  • Razor: '30's Gillette Ball Handle NEW for face & Bic Sensitive for head
  • Blade: Super Iridium (shave 2)
  • Oil Pass: Leisureguy's Last-Pass Shave Oil
  • A/S: Thayer's Rose Petal Witch Hazel Toner

  • Result: Another BBS Shave with the Gillette. No blood. The Super Iridium is a great blade that I will seriously consider making my go to blade.

Tuesday Night:

Musgo Real Glyce pre-wash

Schick Injector razor (Type M-Adjustable, set at 3)
Schick Injector blade (NOS US-made, Super Chromium/Teflon Coated)

Omega 63171 Pure Badger brush
Cella soft shaving soap

Thayer's Lemon Witch Hazel (Astringent)

Time to change the blade. I think my next injector shave will be with a German Schick blade, for comparison. I also have CVS blades to try.

Gareth, I've heard the earlier Schick Injector razors were pretty aggressive. Was this your first Injector shave? How did it go?
