Key West Gentle Citrus Skin Cleanser

Post by clownjuggles »

Guys,

I found a really nice cleanser that is pretty economical. They have since increased the size to a 16.5 oz bottle from the 15.5 oz one I have. I found this stuff kind of by accident. I have been putting it on in the shower rubbing it in good and then rinsing it off. I get out and proceed to lather up as normal and shave. It has been leaving my skin so soft after the shave. It has also made it so easy for my blade to cut through my beard it is wonderful. I hope you find it interesting. I found it to be the most gentle cleanser.

Ok, I'm confused. At which point does one apply the Seagrams?

I shaved after getting drunk on Knob Creek in college. I still have the scars!

Chris,

It was the closest size bottle I had to compare it with. ;)

Clark Kent,

What areas do you want comparisons? I have never found a cleanser similar. It has an almost liquid texture. Very low viscosity. Almost milk like in texture. Slightly less thick than melted ice cream. (I need a sugar fix tonight can you tell?). It doesn't really have a scent to it. It is supposedly a citrus based scent but it is extremely light to my nose if it is. It is a very VERY gentle cleanser. It has been extremely good to my skin. It doesn't strip any moisture out of my face. It doesn't leave any oily residue at all. I like it a lot. It has actually made my neck easier to shave and it seems to also be softening my hair on my face and neck which helps i believe as well. I think the reason it is helping on the neck is because it is conditioning the skin in a way while softening my hair on my face.

I hope this helps.

Sounds interesting indeed. How did you find out about this stuff? Seems kind of off the radar.

Clark,

I was taking charles at QED's advice. Trust the women you know. So i went looking at what my mother and sister used and this is what they have been using for the last 15 yrs. It really is a great product. Don't let the fact that it is not as well known fool ya. It is a top shelf product equal to the Baxter's company. They also have a shave care line for me that isn't too bad either.

Seems like good stuff but with their $8 shipping its kind of steep for 1 bottle of face wash. Im only about 2 hours away too.

Clark,

If you are that close. You might call them and see if any stores in your area sell it.

Clark I hear ya. Gas is horrid lately. I may be ordering their smooth shave on top of the citrus cleanser. Just to see how it works. They have a cleanser that is similar to harris pink. Also that is really good.

They have an aloe that is as good as the naturade stuff in my opinion.

Which aftershave gel do you use? They have one called Zele and one called Zelex: http://keywestaloe.com/items.asp?Cc=003 ... =0&Tp=&Bc=

If you have a bottle lying around would you mind posting an ingredients list?

Thanks in advance :D

I sadly don't have a tube of that lying around. I kind of picked up and left and moved to Florida. you might enjoy if you like naturade. This stuff is cheaper. http://keywestaloe.com/Itemdesc.asp?ic=51565&eq=&Tp= But the zelex is a lime based stuff. I think they have a UVB and a non uvb version.
