As I am starting to use the top shelf shaving soaps (mostly from England) I have used Trumper, DR Harris & AOS (I know AOS is made in Italy, not England - But it is of the same quality IMO). I am yet to try T&H or Taylor and there may be others, but it struck me this morning (I was shaving with Trumper's Coconut soap) that apart from scent I don't think I could tell any of these soaps apart.
Their shave qualities seem identical, unlike creams that seem to have much more variation.
Has anyone else noticed this or am I dreaming?
