Newbie here:)

Post by rasel »

Hi everyone:)

New guy here, I've been "ye olde DE shaver" for couple of years now using the Merkur 760 , I did'nt know a forum dedicated to shaving existed till now. wow :)

I should be getting the Merkur 34C in few days.. I tried out a friends 34C and wow it was awesome to use compared to my merkur 760 and best of all I could easily do my sideburns with precision 8) .

My current tools of choice:

Merkur 760 - hopefully getting the 34C in few days:D
Israeli Blades
Badger hair brush
Taylor of Old Bond Street - Sandalwood shaving cream

Welcome to smf.

Do you ever use the taylor soaps or are you strictly a cream guy?

Welcome to our forum. Nice setup you have. Did you do research before you acquired it, or just hit upon it by happenstance, such as in a shop or internet store?

Welcome Rasel,
So you just found out about shaving message boards? There is a thread for selling and trading, and let me tell you... it thins the wallet, but fattens the shaving cabinet.
Enjoy your shave,
Jose

Current Set up:

Merkur HD barberpole in blue
Feather blades
Rooney Emillion horn
Col Conk's Bay Rum
Proraso menthol
Witch Hazel
Ebano & Ebano Aftershave Balm
