New Shipment From Plisson In Today

Post by VintageBlades »

Just to let you know that we received another shipment from Plisson today. Included were the following, which represent additional items to our product offering:

o Genuine Horn, High Mountain White, Size 8
o Genuine Horn, High Mountain White, Size 10
o Plexi, European White, Size 16
o Plexi, European White, Size 18 *
o Plisson Shaving Soap, 100g. Refill
o Plisson Brush Stands in Nickel and Gold

We also received a good supply of the Genuine Horn, High Mountain White, Size 16 to replenish our stock.

* Someone could have at least warned me how freaking huge this brush was before I ordered it. That's a Size 16 on the left. And to think it also comes in a Size 20.

I think Taylor of old Bond Street have one of the 38s in their window. At first I thought it was some sort of prop, but then I found it on the Plisson site. If I were to pick it up, I would look like some sort of child who got into his father's dopp kit.

Peter,

Are the tips of the bristles in the 38 really white-white?

They look somewhat tannish in the photo.

I have an old stock 18 and a 20 in plexi which have brilliant white bristles. They are luxurious shavers, but must be used with soap in a giant bowl or cup to allow for good swirling.

What's that 38 like to shave with?

Jerry
