Monday and til the TOBS Rose is gone!

Taylors of Old Bond Street Rose
Simpson Tulip 2
Futur w/ Super Iridium
Three Crowns No. 2 Rose ASB

I've only got a little left of the TOBS Rose so I've decided to finish it off. I won't be getting a new since I wasn't blown away by the scent. The actual cream is terrific, though, so I have a tub of paraben rich Avocado waiting for it's moment. The scent of the Avocado reminds me a lot of myrtle :-k

Good Tuesday morning all...

Fat Handle Tech w/ Feather (5)
Edwin Jagger BBB
Lea shave stick
Thayers Original WH w/aloe
444 a/s gel
Vetiver by Guerlain Edt

I tried the new Lea shave stick I got yesterday. It went on easily enough and yielded a nice cushioning lather with the best badger brush which may have been a bit too wet. It does not have any scent that I could detect. Two and a half passes with the Tech/Feather combo and I end up with a DFS. The Lea has glycerin which always leaves my face feeling good...not up to Arko standards but I would recommend it.

Monday

Futur
Gillette 'Swede'
Simpson's Best Badger Special
D.R. Harris Arlington Shave Stick (home made)
Nivea asb

I have decided that I find the stick format more convenient for me to use than a cake and a bowl. So I decided to try and convert one of my cakes of soap to a stick, which I did yesterday afternoon. Used it this morning, and it worked great!

I grated the Arlington cake, and pressed the gratings into a an old 35mm film cannister. It gave me a stick that was the same diameter as a Palmolive stick, but shorter. I removed it from the film tub and wrapped it in foil.

Tuesday

Gillette '71 Superspeed (black handle)
Gillette 'Swede'
Simpson's Best Badger Special
D.R. Harris Arlington Shave Stick (home made)
Nivea asb
