I find it funny how, when I get to the end of a tube or pot of cream, I all of a sudden tend to see how long I can make it last.

Monday

Razor: Gillette Norfolk
Blade: Iridium Super
Brush: Rooney 3/1
Pre-Shave: Kell's Original Turkish Mocha Pre-shave Soap
Soap: Tabac
A/S: Royall Bay Rhum

Yesterday's shave was so nice I decided to double up with one exception...I used the Rooney 3/1 this time. The Rooney 3/1 is perfect for face lathering and I got plenty of creamy lather from the puck of Tabac. Another excellent shave!

Razor: Merkur Futur
Blade: Astra Superior Platinum
Soap: Pre de Provence
Brush: Vulfix 2006 Pure Badger
A/S: Ogallala Bay Rum

A super shave this morning. I have developed a strong affinity for tallow-based soaps, but I’m gaining great respect for Pre de Provence. The PdP is definitely a keeper for me, although I’m not about to dump my tallow soaps.

The Ogallala Bay Rum provided a fine finish.

W&B 8/8 Barber's use
Rooney super 1/1 horn
T&H Trafalgar cream
Trumper's Limes Skin Food
Tabac edt

I used a cream for the first time in ages, and it was very pleasant, a little more moisturising, so I may use creams more through the winter.
