Willie Nelson's "On the Road Again" in my head as I shave:
SR 3118
Palmolive Stick, ~1/2" left
No Moss Scuttle
Merkur Travel Razor
Dorco 301ST blade
Old Spice AS ( in a cleaned out motel shampoo bottle)
Luckily I could bring blades when I drive, unlike when flying.

Sunday Morning:
Hot Shower/Proraso Glycerin Cleansing Bar/Hot Towel
1953 Gillette 40's Style SS
Swedish Gillette (Shave #2)
C&E BBB
Proraso SC
Proraso A/S
Vaseline IRML Lotion
My first day back at it since Monday. All of my irritation had subsided and I figured it was safe again. So, I went with my most fool proof set up. It's nearly impossible for me to have a bad shave with Proraso. I'll probably stick with this gear here until I can get my neck issue taken care of. I went with a North/South pass using very light and short strokes at the top half of my neck. Didn't experience any problems. Then I went with a South/North pass on the bottom half using the same technique. BBS on my neck is impossible but I have always known that. I think today went pretty good. Irritation free, so far. Most of you know that my irritation doesn't show up until the day after the shave usually. We'll see how it goes. Thanks to all of you that contributed help on my "Neck Problems" thread.

Razor: Merkur Futur on 1.75
Blade: Iridium Super
Brush: Rooney 3/1 Super
Pre-Shave: Kell's Original Turkish Mocha Pre-shave Soap
Soap: Institut Karite
A/S: Pre de Provence ASB
The Institut Karite soap performs much like a tallow soap despite its lack of tallow. The Rooney 3/1 whipped up plenty of lather and I enjoyed a great shave. I decided to pair the Shea Butter of Institut Karite with the Shea Butter of PdP ASB and all I can say is, "WOW". Very nice!

Good day, Sunday!
Muehle R89 with Derby
Vulfix boar #374
Arko shave soap
Musgo Real a/s
GFT Sandalwood cologne
I used a couple of new products this morning - Vulfix boar brush and Arko shave soap. Both seem like good buys so far, but I've learned to reserve my official opinion until after a couple dozen of uses... Needless to say though, I had an excellent shave

Good Sunday morning all...
'73 Superspeed w/ 7a.m. (2)
Semogue 1305
Mem sc
Thayers Original WH w/ aloe
Nivea extra soothing a/s balm
Creed Bois du Portugal Edt (decant)
Boy, I really like the Mem...another great shave with the Mem/superspeed/7 a.m. combination. This is the first time I used the Semogue with a cream and it produced and held a lot of lather. So far, the 7 a.m. works well for me. The Bois du Portugal is a nice change of pace...

Sunday Shave
Sunday, November 1, 2009
Razor: Merkur Futur
Blade: Astra Superior Platinum
Brush: Vulfix 2006 Pure Badger
Soap: Tabac
A/S: Dickinson’s Witch Hazel, followed by Pinaud Bay Rum splash
The Tabac/Futur combo resulted in the usual fine, BBS, shave--very refreshing.
I thought the Witch Hazel was quite appropriate for the morning after Halloween. And the Pinaud Bay Rum provided a fine, fragrant, and comfortable finish.
