Fat Handle Tech w/ Feather (?)
C&E BBB
Mem sc
Thayers Original WH w/ aloe
C&E Sandalwood a/s balm
SCS sandalwood Edt
The Feather blade is going strong in the Tech...I think I will dedicate that razor for Feather blades since it works so well for me. The Mem is terrific and I was able to get a BBS shave on my face and a cueball smooth shave on my head (with two passes with the Mach 3).
I enjoy being able to take my time on the weekend to shave. Even though I spend a fair amount of time during the week, there's always that press of time in the back of my mind that I don't have on the weekend.

Razor: Gillette Norfolk
Blade: Iridium Super (Shave #3)
Brush: Rooney SMF Special
Pre-Shave: Kell's Original Turkish Mocha Pre-shave Soap
Soap: Irisch Moos
A/S: Musgo Real Classic Aftershave
This is my 2nd time using the Irisch Moos and I am impressed. I got a very creamy protective lather (much like Tabac) with a fresh scent. The Norfolk with the thrice used Super Iridium did an outstanding job and the Musgo Real was very refreshing and moisturizing.

Saturday Shave
Saturday, November 7, 2009
Razor: Merkur Futur
Blade: Astra Superior Platinum
Brush: Vulfix 2006 Pure Badger
Soap: MWF
A/S: Dickinson’s Witch Hazel/Proraso A/S balm
An outstanding shave this morning, using some of my favorite stuff. The MWF and Futur never disappoint, and the Proraso balm just plain felt good--an excellent finish.
The Vulfix 2006, a very inexpensive badger brush, was purchased with travel in mind. However, it is a little stiffer than my other badger brushes and works well with soaps. I prefer it to a boar for travel because it dries quicker.

Saturday Morning:
Hot Shower/Proraso Glycerin Cleansing Bar/Hot Towel
1955 Gillette Flare Tip SS
LORD Blade (Shave #1)
Rooney Style 3, Super
La Toja SC
Italian Floid A/S
Vaseline IRML Lotion
WHAT A SHAVE!!! The La Toja never ceases to amaze me. I get a great lather every time and a great shave every time. As a bonus, it also leaves my face feeling extremely smooth. This was my first time using a LORD blade. LORD is a company out of Egypt. They make a few razors as well. The blade itself was mediocre. I got a decent shave out of it regardless, but it won't be a replacement for my beloved Swedes. The flare tip Super Speed seems to get me a bit of a better shave than my trusty 40's styles. It may be the lower profile head that allows me to get into those tough spots on my neck a little bit better. Italian Floid provides a fantastic cooling finish and I'm off to conquer the world!

Nice shave. Trying the witch hazel. I didn't notice anything new or different but I will keep playing with it.
