Birthday shave

Post by okie »

Nov. 10 is the birthday of the USMC. So today I shave with my 1904 Army because our gear comes from the Army, Trumpers because our traditions come from the Royal Marines, a mug my brother gave me because he joined the Corps before me, a feather blade from Japan to remember those we fought, a little stiptic for the Corpmen and Doctors who patch us up, cold water splash for the Navy who let us ride the ship, a little clubman after shave for all the Ladies from around the world, and a little nick for the blood lost by those who gave all. Semper Fi gents.
