Swanky blade disposal
What I did was make a "cozy" for my ordinary blade box. A little dab of hot glue holds it in. A razor knife cuts the glue when the box is full and a new one goes in.
I have some in the works made from different types of wood. This one is mahogany and maple.

Would you part with one for a fair price?Reverend Jim wrote:I have some in the works made from different types of wood. This one is mahogany and maple.
“If you teach a poor young man to shave himself, and keep his razor in order, you may contribute more to the happiness of his life than in giving him a thousand guineas.” --Benjamin Franklin
It does look better than the empty Altoids can I use. But I just keep it in "my" shaving drawer in the bathroom where it's been for (can't remember when I started using it). Wonder how long it will take to fill it up?

Thanks for the kind words guys.
Dave, I started with a solid piece of wood and drilled out most of the material on the drill press with a forstener bit then made a template for the router using a pattern bit and finished up. Really the hardest part was getting the slot correctly located.
Mat, you have a PM.

Reverend Jim, that is a classy looking box.
On the other hand, here's mine - not so pretty, and it is a great dust catcher to boot. What can I say (the round hole is for spent Trac II cartridges, an afterthought) --
