Tuesday Shave
Tuesday, March 16, 2010
Merkur Progress XL
7 O’Clock Yellow
Vulfix 2234 Super
TOBS Lavender SC
Dickinson’s Witch Hazel
Speick Splash
Nice, comfortable shave this morning with wonderful, fragrant lather from the TOBS cream. The Speick splash is quite lightly scented and was an excellent finish.

Razor: Amboyna Burl Razor with Merkur Head
Blade: Super Iridium
Brush: Simfix Grosvenor LE Two band
Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat
A/S: Mr. Taylor
This is my third use of the Simfix Grosvenor brush and I am very pleased with its performance. Today I put it to the test with MWF, a sometimes difficult to lather soap. The Grosvenor effortlessly whipped up an abundance of rich creamy lather from the fat...enough for four passes. The Amboyna razor did a fantastic job and the Mr. Taylors, always a favorite, did not disappoint.
